Trudy Sheoras is an artist who shares her love of nature with each brushstroke.

A Natural Painter

Growing up in nature, watching her mother paint throughout her life, and taking an acrylic abstract class when a watercolour class was cancelled are milestones in the rich journey of Trudy’s life as a painter.

  • "A piece from Trudy's series 'Forest Bathing' hangs in my store. Everyday I look at it and it feels like I've walked amongst the trees and experienced 'Forest Bathing'. I get so many comments from customers complimenting the work. In fact, I originally chose a piece from the 'Currents' series, but my employee Dot loved it so much it now hangs in her home! Thank you Trudy for bringing the beauty of nature into Parsley Sage Thyme Health Food store."

  • My 96 year old Mom in Newfoundland hangs a very sentimental and beautiful painting titled Oceans of Love in her home. It is commissioned from Trudy’s Currents collection. It’s both awe inspiring and relaxing, uniting the Pacific and Atlantic oceans symbolizing our unity as Mother and Daughter. Thank you Trudy! You and your paintings are inspirational.

  • Trudy’s personalized painting makes our customers smile.  It brings happiness to our restaurant - a place owned and managed by my family for three generations. Arigatō Gozaumasu, Trudy! Thank you!

  • “[Everyone at the Vancouver Marina is] humbled and inspired by her art, her being, and by her inspiration… THANK YOU for this artistic gift.”

  • "We come from a five generation fishing family. As cousins of two of Ladner's fishermen brothers, Trudy's painting 'Currents' Fraser River Meets the Salish Sea holds a special meaning for us. It brings us, our family, and our customers joy, beauty, and is a perfect fit in the Superior Fish Store!"

  • Trudy’s painting took my breath away when it arrived.  I hang it proudly in my tropical and rare plant store on Dyke Road in Richmond.  When customers comment on it, I show them Trudy’s Forest Bathing artist statement and point out how the painting adds indoor plants to that message. I also sell her hand painted, watercolour cards which are a big hit with my customers! Numb Aida Buttu  (Buddhist expression of joyful gratitude)

  • Trudy Sheoras has graced our tiny home in the woods near Toronto with the most beautiful “Forest Bathing” painting. We are passionate nature lovers and find peace and happiness during our walks and hikes. During the winter, it has reminded us that spring is just around the corner. Sometimes we imagine stepping into it - it truly feels like the experience of walking amongst majestic trees. We are also going to order a tea towel. We just have to decide between Currents at the Breakwater (to support the hatchery) or Forest Bathing. Will be happy to have more of Trudy’s art in our little home!
